Potlog is made by Pochica (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Potlog.
What Potlog stores
- Plants you add: names, rooms, notes, photos, and care records (watering, “Still moist”, fertilizer and other care items, growth photos).
- Your settings, such as the reminder time.
This information is stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync (Potlog Pro), it is also stored in your own iCloud account through Apple’s CloudKit. We cannot access it.
What we collect
Nothing. Potlog has no account system, no Potlog server, no analytics, and no advertising. We do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Permissions
- Camera and Photos: only to take or choose a photo of a plant, and to save share cards to your photo library. Photos are resized and stored on your device.
- Notifications: local reminders scheduled on your device.
Purchases
Purchases of Potlog Pro are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment information.
Children
Potlog is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone.
Deleting your data
Delete a plant in Potlog, or delete the app, to remove data from your device. Data synced to iCloud can be removed in the Settings app under your Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage.
